Friend tech was the hottest thing in crypto in Aug/Sep 2023. At its peak, it was generating $2m daily fees and had 70k active users. All the big names in crypto whether influencers, degens or gamer were trading their keys there. It was dubbed as 'proof' that decentralized social media is a real thing.

But only 5 months later it's DEAD: - Daily active users are down 99.9% - Fees generated have plunged 98% Seems like it was yet another hype-driven project for 'influencers' to pump and dump their keys on their followers. Yet another example of why we shouldn't blindly follow the hype.
