this kinda makes sense. what i've been left wondering is if consumer products have to cater to this "new long term" of many different short term bets, sequenced after one another... except for the few who are catering to the base human needs like social connection etc. thoughts?

wonder if this can be solved systematically - such a system would require manual scraping of airdrop lists a lot of the times. or like using dune dashboards. would actually be helpful if we had like a standard place where anyone who did airdrops just dropped the wallet address list to..

couple come to mind 1. attribution - always end up questioning if the insight is true or the data behind it (e.g. did X ads really fail or was that a leaky UTM problem) 2. how to churn out consistent viral content on social media - giveaways etc. not included. ; just true good quality topical content

we include it in our PRDs to add instrumentation for basic monitoring of any new feature we ship. to your point of a few metrics only, another valuable learning has been to set a primary output & input metric (e.g. retention delta & no of users who even saw this feature )
