So many identity solutions launched in the last 2 years- hardly any took off. Know a few that shut down as well The core reason i could figure out was building just the infra & not identifying business critical use cases of today where the infra will be used ( just the protocol not a client like warpcast) Thoughts?

It seems like airdrops are the most obvious and immediate use case of a proof of human + reputation protocol. It’s been part of crypto since the beginning but farmers are undermining its purpose and a lot of value is being lost right after the drop. Seems to me that if we need to incentivise users to get onboard, gating airdrops to users with DiDs is a good way to get better outcomes from airdrops and bootstrap an industry standard at the same time.

What do you mean by digital identity? Ens is probably the most successful example. Do you mean decentralized identity or reputation protocols?
