This week I built "The Base Gas Fee Frame" The frame estimates how much your wallet would have spent on gas if you did all your Base transactions on L1 Ethereum at 30 gwei

How does the frame work? ---------------------------------- it grabs your last 200 tx's, filters out ones you didn't initiate and sums up the total tx fee spent. it then gets an average gwei price you paid for those tx's on Base. using these figures, it "estimates" what this total tx fee would cost on L1 @ 30 gwei. The figures I see can't be real? ---------------------------------- Base is usually 3000x cheaper than L1 at 30 gwei. Here is an example uniswap tx on L1 and Base Base: $0.004 https://basescan.org/tx/0x3d5a8cb678dc4c3a6598f8b2e3543ba7762adb3d9bb92dd0bc4f08402c5cb2fe L1: $5.48 https://etherscan.io/tx/0xb800deb9eed8702d200a703c11ad9b165fc709324f6aca6ea27decfca1e65ad7 Difference - 1275.78x higher swap on L1 @ 8.5 GWEI. At 30 gwei this would be over 3000x I'm not a gas expert, but during my testing and spot checking my frame was pretty close. Thank you to all who tried it and shared!
