How would you sell someone on the value of CC0. There are no rights reserved, so why would someone want to contribute to a CC0 project/brand?

Being part of a CC0 project feels like joining something bigger than yourselfâlike open-source software. Artists often need a reminder that once art is created, it no longer belongs to us, but to the world. The real reward comes from the process, not ownership. The pressure to monetize can make us overly protective of our work, but few succeed in that. Contributing to something with built-in value, like CC0, can be easier than starting from scratch. Itâs a way to focus on the fun of creating without the stress of selling. Artists sometimes cling to their work because they fear they canât recreate it. But trust yourselfâeach piece should get better than the last. Itâs not artwork; itâs artistic workâand once itâs done, itâs no longer yours. Whatâs yours is the joy of creating it.
