I love creating mints like Waveforms and Soulbounds because they offer a different experience from the norm.
While they resemble open editions, these mints use the ERC-721 standard, making each one unique and personal to the minter.
They’re fully onchain, and I hope this approach will introduce more people to this way of deploying NFT's.
These mints are also educational, providing insights into something specific—in this case, helping users understand the composition of their address.
With onchain mechanics, they showcase what’s possible with a fully onchain NFT, composability with Base colors for example.
Since they have an unlimited supply, the market, not me, determines the “fair” revenue I earn. They’re accessible, fun (at least I think so), and affordable for everyone.
I want to continue building more of these mints that help visualize onchain data. But I'm mindful of “creating too many mints,”
I wonder if that’s really an issue when the cost is just $2 though? 9 replies
