River collision: two rivers that combine but not mixed with water Some rivers do not mix with each other even though some rivers are combined, which is known as "Confluence". It is mainly due to the difference in water density, temperature, salinity, and flow of flow. Famous Confluent Examples: Rio Negro and Solimoce (Brazil) Thompson and Fraser River (Canada) Bhagirathi and Alkananda (India) This event is a wonderful aspect of nature, which highlights the variety and beauty of the rivers. 🌊
