probably should start using riscv esp32 instead of the xtensa ones. I am too lazy read the xtensa architecture documentation when espressif is going full throttle on riscv. 

problem is many of the current market devices are still on the xtensa architecture

ceo said future chips will be riscv, and the all the recent new chips have riscv cores like the esp32-c and esp32-p series. Probably they save lot of money in licensing fees paid to Cadence for xtensa ISA.

what does full throttle on riscv mean though? that they are producing more of them?
