This is the inherent schizophrenia of crypto. A Delaware C-corp raises equity capital to build a user-facing app, while building an underlying protocol destined to one day welcome as many competitors as possible, and whose token will capture most of the liquid value. Somehow the team must navigate the contradiction.

Uniswap's biggest competitors are..its own wallet partners that give it distribution. It's bizarre, and unlikely wouldn't be so acute without demented securities laws, but here we are.

It's so challenging. I have so much respect for all founders navigating this inherent tension.

it‘s actually only schizophrenia if you belong to the group of people that want to build companies in crypto. My project is a year old yet no company or investors exist. Skill issue if you‘re getting shizo

Only issue is for VCs funding clients. Incentive alignment doesn’t work and will fail.
