I disagree Truly ambitious kids will read this stuff and scoff at it, but there are probably a large number of "middle class kids" (define that however you want) who would do a lot better if they kept their head down on something profitable for 5 years

Only wealthy boomers think that a middle class still exists. It genuinely and empirically doesnβt. Itβs very poor making ends meet and affluent with disproportionate resources. It is what it is and you gotta kill to eat in the world, but the middle class has been systematically obliterated, at least in America.
