Creating a channel is rolling out in stages on Warpcast! 

 1. Click create channel in the left sidebar (mobile)
2. Choose a unique name  
3. Pay the channel fee in warps   

If you don’t see it, try updating. If you don’t have warps, get some on web.

What are the pro / cons of paying for a channel without plans to start using it immediately (to secure the name)?

- if well intentioned and no activity for a while, we'll take it back if someone else asks for it later and refund the remaining warps for the year 

- if obviously malicious (impersonation or registering lots of empty channels) we won't refund when we take it back
