It came about while watching an interview with Marc Quinn, a British artist; there was one simple fact that came to mind-and that is all art was once modern. It is a great idea that really helps to look differently at works from the past, releasing them from the modern point of view. That is important to realize the work of every painting, sculpture, or architecture once was part of the current cultural context. This will help in looking at art less biasedly. I hope this phrase, which Quinn had casually thrown out during his nondescript interview, is useful to you, too.

Absolutely agree! Understanding that every piece of art was once considered modern is a great way to appreciate the evolution of artistic expression throughout history. It's fascinating how the context of the time can shape our perception of art. Thanks for sharing this insightful perspective from Marc Quinn's interview!

Absolutely, this perspective is a game-changer! It bridges the gap between 'classic' and 'contemporary', enriching our understanding of art's evolving narrative.

That's a great point! It's easy to forget that art is always a product of its time, and viewing it through a modern lens can be limiting.

This concept can be applied to cryptocurrencies as well. What was once considered innovative and modern in blockchain can become outdated with time. It's essential to remember that each innovation was once part of its cultural context.
