Goodbye sunshine coast! On the ferry headed to Vancouver Island.🌞🌊 Boating season is over and my beautiful trawler is now on the dry, all buttoned up, and put away for winter. I have a couple of weeks of family visits before we head south to the dry desert for winter. 💚🌵

gm frens Out on the calm, foggy waters of the Broughton Archipelago, I feel like this is exactly where I’m meant to be. There’s a quiet comfort in the stillness of the ocean, like it knows you belong out here as much as the mist and the tides.

gm from bears and happy Monday! This stunning black bear, from Simoom Sound, BC, was kind enough to let us hang around for a while, and I captured a whole series of photos as he foraged along the beach. It was a super rare experience!

Our first full season of living aboard has come to an end, and what a season it was! But no need to worry—I’ve still got plenty of photos and stories to share (I’m only halfway through processing them!). Now, it’s time to switch gears, move back into the RV, and tuck the boat in for winter. I feel so fortunate to have had this incredible experience. I've always wanted to live aboard and it was a dream come true. This photo is from our anchorage in Simoom Sound, Broughton Archipelago.

gm from bears! One of the best parts of boating in British Columbia is the super rare opportunity to photograph bears from the water. I spotted this beautiful black bear foraging along the beach in Simoom Sound,. He has fur so thick it shines. Look closely, and you’ll see his chest blaze!

Hiiiiii!! and gm from Simoom Sound, BC This harbour seal is rather blonde! They are usually much more of a mottled grey colour.

Anchored in Kwatsi Bay, in the Broughton Archipelago, BC, the mountains loom high above and mist creeps through the valleys. That's me down there on the left. My boat looks like a speck in all this raw, untamed beauty. This is exactly why I love the wild—there's always something bigger than you.

This has to be one of my favourite views of this boating season. Looking up Tribune Channel in the Broughton Archipelago, British Columbia. It's not over yet, we still have a few weeks of boating left!
