i'll have 5+ job interviews next week as a founder (or anyone really), what are you looking at when hiring a new person?

Be yourself, and I’m sure you’ll slay it! When I hired, I liked when candidates came prepared, knew about the project, and had questions. It's nice to show interest and demonstrate that you are coachable. Best of luck!

Trust and pragmatism. Anyone can acquire great tech skills, not anyone can be autonomous.

Attitude.. A person is willing to work in any work pressure. A little knowledge is fine for me if he has a attitude to learn. Thats it. I don't think we can judge someone in such small time

Giving a small task and observe how it will be solved (the result is also important , but more interesting how the person acts)

Really depends on the stage at the company, but in the earlier days: - Agility: ability to adapt to adversity - Breadth: expertise at 1.25x your actual role - Communication: ability to articulate well
