The last few weeks have been a complete sensory overload—too much of a good thing can wear you out just as fast as the bad. Travels, holidays, excitement—it’s been non-stop. As much as I try to resist the stable, “boring” routine, I have to admit it’s exactly what I need to feel grounded and recharged. Right now, I feel like a kid who’s had way too much sugar and just desperately needs to sleep. 2025 is already shaping up to be a busy year—exciting, but busy. I really need to get a solid work-life balance in place before I find myself flailing and directionless taken by a chaos. It’s time to set myself up for the year ahead before it runs away with me. What are your grounding practices? How do you stay captain of your life without compromising too much on spontaneity? Portrait of a Widow 2024 I South Africa

What I've been thinking about these days is that sometimes doing nothing during the day and being happy and enjoying what we're not doing can be a skill. To calm our brains that we're not supposed to do something useful every day to feel like our day went well... Sometimes we need to do nothing and stop feeling like we have to do something every day to feel better.💆🏻♀️ 200 $DEGEN ♥️

I always enjoy the "doing nothing" but at the same time, being a very active person by nature, this is my biggest struggle. I am the happiest when I work, study, read, or hike in quiet nature.
