I usually get 7-8hrs per night and my garmin is still bullying me with fair sleep and sleep score around 70-80. I think I need to get around 1.5-2hrs of REM in order to have sleep score over. I believe rephrasing this whole theory of how much sleep you need to get per night to how much of REM sleep you get is more important than dictating how many hrs of sleep you need to get per night
