I didn't receive any notifications and I can't continue my streak on TOC, is this normal?

okay so what's the plan for August?

since the whole point of the PWA was notifications but that's the one thing that didn't end up working...there's two ways I see this going

1) Make a full on mobile app (testflight) and don't leave the option of web access there --> to use the terminal you have to download app and enable notifs

2) Take the WC DCs or TG channel approach --> lightweight and can help me focus on the curation for /toc. Also, most people already have notifs already enabled for these. The goal can be to find some sort of content market fit and can always go back to the app later

July recap for /toc: was heads down building v2 of the Terminal

What went well 🟢 
- Showed up everyday and did the daily curation (FC follow + 3-4 casts with a blurb from me)

- Shipped an entire app with home feed, archive, members hub, streaks, points, check-in, etc.

- 400 people sign-in with Farcaster at least once on the app

- Got great feedback on the curation --> many people DMed saying they discovered awesome new users/channels and enjoyed the context I provided on links + casts I shared

What didn't go so well 🔴 

- On July 1st, we had 176 users sign up and by July 31st had 399 users total that had at least logged in once

That's good right? BUT...

the # of daily check-ins (north star) was stuck between 60-70 the whole month

meaning that users were only checking out the terminal on web, not actually taking the extra step to get the PWA & enable notifications

- not as many people as I thought ended up using the nomination or perk cards

hey! paused the notifications after July 31st - currently trying to figure out next steps and will have some updates by tomorrow.

Will also be sending out one last notficaiton on the app with updates!
