Calling for self-awareness with tipping contests

- reminder: you don't have to run a contest to support artists
- too many contests dilute the impact of unique content
- if you're running a contest, consider ways to make it valuable: ask a thoughtful question & reward the best answers, give a specific topi, etc

You're right, there are a lot of "post your art" contests like on Twitter to cultivate engagement; we're better than that.
