Highly recommend taking a caffeine fast (7+ days off caffeine) every once in a while It will re-regulate your adenosine systems. Adenosine is under-discussed, but it’s basically the relaxation neurotransmitter Caffeine withdrawals are a bitch, but it’s worth the reduced anxiety, muscular tension, and improved sleep

Generally felt less jittery and energy was more stable. Also didn’t feel like I missed out on a social factor, unlike w not drinking. First cuppa joe after a year was a trip though haha. You forget how strong it really is
