One idea: e/acc vs. decel is a dimension-reduced framing within the shared context of Cartesian duality

The reason both feel off is they miss a key parameter, embodied cognition, which is desirable to accelerate

But I'm not sure how to measure the latter, as it feels more intuitive - having "good energy" as you said
