example: in online poker NLHE was the most popular game -> tons of people play -> edges get smaller PLO was less explored and a more volatile game -> fewer NLHE grinders would invest the time to learn it -> edges are bigger for advanced players

I think a lot about Nick Kokonas and his idea of playing where there are “higher, smaller hoops”. Places where optically the game seems bad yet there are hints that the market is inefficient

this matches with my experience of all crypto games 24h first hours and first week being crucial to you making profit on them (mostly talking about new dapps/things launching here) learn faster than the rest, take profits before them, move onto next meta but its hard af to stay sharp
