I read Ray Dalio's book a while back and have watched his predictions pretty much play out so far. I guess a lot of other people could have predicted Ukraine and printing of money and inflation etc. but he also believes that the US has set its own stage for China and other parts of the world to make a move.

He seems to talk like we are so close to a shift in the world order and has said that how the US population handles this next election seems to be a big determining factor of our place in the world because it could weaken our internal order of things if populists can't hang when their guy doesn't get elected.
