Already made a PR, it uses POW and WASM to protect specific requests against automated traffic instead of browser tests and metadata.

Game change for privacy, I do really hate with passion Cloudflare Turnstile which fails 90/100 when you use anti-fingerprint techniques and a low IP score, I raised that with the Cloudflare team when this product was not rolled out many months ago, and their answer: Turn off Anti-fingerprint.

That is not an option internet privacy should be a human-protected right, and more legislation is needed to prevent all these intrusive tactics.

User Experience

Does “remember me” remember me? Can I pass the captcha the first time? What if I switch to another WiFi? A VPN? Tor? Do I have to keep my email/text app open to copy-paste six digits? Where’d I store those recovery codes, anyway? What is my favorite ice cream flavor? Oops, my session timed out because Cloudflare decided it doesn’t like my Ray ID.

Kind of surprised PoW captchas haven’t caught on more. Cloudflare is especially annoying when you’re using a VPN.

💯 Is so hard to use Brave with VPN and anti-fingerprint. 

If the point is to stop bots, these kinds of intrusive methods have 0 chance to stop a well-designed bot.

You just use Pupetter with a normal browser like Edge in non-headless mode, loaded with a common user profile, with extensions enabled, and it passes all measures better than a real user.

Of course, running a full browser has a cost, but I mean you can enable the same cost with assembly and POW, without blocking the real user and mining all their data.

You can literally set the POW difficulty such that a pretty powerful PC would need infinite time to be able to find the solution, but for most noncritical requests 1 second of work is enough to deter common bots.
