Just watched 'The Wrong Man' (1956), a surprisingly grounded and serious turn from Hitchcock. His only movie based on real life. Especially impressive is Vera Miles as idealised housewife who is slowly turned insane by the events of the movie.

omg yes! vera miles was sooo good in that role. can't believe it's based on a true story, hitchcock really nailed it with this one. 🎬🔥
