Yeah exactly, what we humans have been eradicating with modernity - community. There’s such a wealth of knowledge that is not getting passed on… we can learn so much from the internet but most content creators are young and also learning, there’s still a lot of info missing.

Agreed! I’m a city girl. My parents are immigrants. I don’t think they were taught any skills and they didn’t teach me any skills. I learned everything from the internet and YouTube. Most of my peers and friends don’t know anything, not even cooking. 😬

Can anyone recommend a nice coffee mashine focused on esspreso. I don't want it with a grinder or milk titilator, I just want it to make a decent job of putting the coffee through an open portafilter... I'll be grinding separately. I like the ritual. Also I want to best for peanuts.... 😅

Thank you! Overall was great!! The food is sooo good, both cheap and expensive spots everything was worth the $ and more. The weather was awful when I went though haha sooo hot and humid, and raining at the same time. I always felt safe trekking around although the patriarchy was pretty glaring at times. Love how clean everything was but they definitely need to invest in better landscaping in their city planning. The lack of nature in the big cities was kind of depressing!

I’m guessing lunch is probably easier to get a spot! I also opted for the more expensive private room. All around 3* bookings were hard to find (I literally refreshed everyday) and this place was the only one that had a slot during the day I was looking for.

It was fantastic! Everything was delicious of course haha. They are particular about their ingredients, sourcing from locals. The salad had 57 different fruits and vegetables! They even gave us a list of where they sourced everything!
