Has anyone used an L3 and thought it was necessary, useful, and/or a better user experience? For me they’ve been dreadful

I never used hamcaster but enjoyed ham tipping. Was the L3 necessary though? Seemed like Degen worked fine on base before they put an L3 up. Imo made the claiming process a pain in the ass

Agreed. Maybe sometime down the road multiple layers totally abstracted could make sense. I.e. Starbucks has an L3. I don’t think most crypto apps make sense to have their own L3

I personally don’t get the L3 meta either. I could see an application where the L3 is ephemeral and then spun down after its use case is through. Something akin to spinning up a server and then spinning it down after the work is done. But even that, the whole interaction with the L3 would need to be abstracted away from the user
