I see a lot of people buying and selling base names on secondary (1e total volume atm).

Are people aware that just purchasing the Basenames NFT does not automatically assign/redirect that base name to the owner’s wallet?

what are they even selling then? last time I checked (cc @slobo.eth) ens subnames aren't permissionless, so curious what the asset being transferred is

How are they selling the basenames? Transferring it did reassign it for me...
