It was on high painkillers. The wise choice was to retire, not continue playing worsening the injury. But probably he was thinking about this. He needed just one more win.

That’s a bummer. That match against Cerúndolo was amazing. Hope he didn’t do too much damage. I’m currently sidelined with a knee injury as well. Super frustrating. The field is still full of my favorite young players. All of whom are playing amazing tennis. I am rooting for anyone but Tsisipas.
