So, is Apple a monopoly?

My default reaction is no. But it’s also clear that increasing governmental involvement in tech (the Big Tech era) means that innovators no longer have a level playing field. So maybe I need to rewire my laissez faire instincts about how change occurs in technology?

Was just having this convo with friends today. I think they are the clearest example of a monopoly *as currently laws are written*, though those antitrust laws are woefully out of date (not that I think Khan and the FTCs “new antitrust” is a great framework either) 🤷‍♂️
