Solana is attracting attention with its AI capabilities. I want to remind everyone once and for all - both newcomers and market veterans: the cryptocurrency market consists of Bitcoin and everything else. This "everything else" was given a name - altcoins. And within that, we have meme coins, shitcoins, and many more. If you see the market as a casino and you only want growth, and alt seasons, then you must live with risks and drawdowns of -70 or -80 percent. Period.

The harsh truth about investing is that if an asset has fallen by more than 80%, it will be extremely difficult to break even. To make a profit of 50% of the initial value, the asset must rise by 650% from the current price - and that's not even counting multiples. Therefore, without averaging down, the recovery process will be very difficult and long, and for some coins - even impossible. In such cases, it's sometimes better to sell some positions and average down on more promising ones.

I view this maket movement at the moment as a technical bounce. Funding was largely negative, which means there were a lot of short positions in the market. Then a bullish tweet from Trump comes out and off we go. Liquidations (short squeezes) of highly leveraged positions are occurring, plus others are closing shorts (which represents buying) out of fear of liquidation, and some are simply going long on the news. This is why we're seeing such strong growth/bounce. The crypto czar is hinting at mega news, which is heating up the market even more. Most likely we'll now form a sideways pattern after these swings. Let's observe and take a breath.
