Donna J. Haraway "Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Cthulucene"  an excellent book. Haraway is a key writer for ecology, the anthropocene, caring for non-human species as kin, interconnections: everything is connected to some thing (Thom van Dooren, Deborah Bird Rose). I think everyone should read this one

this and books by Deborah Bird Rose (Shimmer, Dingo Makes Us Human, Wild Dog Dreaming) & Thom van Dooren (Flight Ways: Life & Loss at the Edge of Extinction) (who Haraway quotes/references) are key starting point / nodes in my main art research project

yes some of her ideas eg population related I don't really gel with but I like the ecology/connectedness ones. have seen some video talks on this that were good (close to the book, really too)

For quite some time, I was sceptical about Haraway - and I still have some issues with her opaque writing - but her lectures turn out to be very funny, she has interesting ideas, and some of her essays are actually readable (the teddy bear patriarchy is for me an important text).
