I would try to collect a piece from every 100years with as much diversity as time allowed

If there was leftover room then focusing on stories leading up to and down from any golden age period

showing: nature, human physique, animals, civilization, and Astrocity in mass
Lastly equipment for a final farewell photograph

As for “time allows” simply collect things based on perceived rarity and throw them out when soething more rare in the same age is found
