some of the electronics are roughly the size of a grain of rice and I am not precise enough for this to be quick or enjoyable

this board is hotswap but I need to solder on the hotswap sockets myself 🥲

totally agree, hotswap switches are just sooo much easier

haven't done any SMDs yet, but headers and wires have been quite tricky on their own — im quickly discovering how nice the right tools are for this job 😄

Yeah soldering looks cool but I ain’t got time or the eyes for it sometimes. Love me some hot swapping for keyboards other times I just pay someone to do it 🤣
