Bankruptcy-going lending platform Celsius has filed a lawsuit against Tether seeking 39,542 BTC (around $2.4 billion). According to the document, the amount was collateral for a loan from the issuer of the USDT stablecoin. The latter requested an increase in collateral after the price of bitcoin dropped in early 2022.
