Just gonna come out and say it: ethbros need to get over themselves.

The division and copium in response to the recent Solana frenzy is... not great. As much as I love the community I've found on FC, it's too niche and insulated for its own good. It just feels like everyone here is constantly obsessed and waxes poetics about Eth tech, feels very ivory tower.

Among desocs, most people don't even know FC exists. I constantly  see blogs and outlets not affiliated with FC mention Mastodon, Bluesky, maybe even Nostr. None of them mention FC.

If we want to have any sizable impact beyond our tiny village, we need to get outside of ourselves and connect with other web3 communities, better yet connect with people outside of web3 entirely. I need to do better at this myself. If we want normies to adopt, we need to stop looking down on them.

Unless of course we want to stay isolated in our ivory tower. That's for us to decide.
