My all time fave Shakespeare play is Macbeth. Some say Macbeth went down the path he did because he was a victim of circumstance. I call BS. Macbeth and Walt weren't hapless victims. They were given a choice, and in the end, they both chose wrong. 🧵

On the surface, Walt makes it look like he's getting into the drug biz to support his family; but just by watching Grey Matter, and seeing how he would later abandon his loved ones, it's clear what his real motives were: feeding his insatiable pride.
