the EF would not be able to "save" ethereum even if they tried ethereum is decentralized - it's up to you and me to build cool shit that normal people can and want to use crying to the EF is effectively crying "can devs do something". we're past that. grow up.

i think the whole ecosystem is a bit jaded so it makes sense that people are looking for leadership. it also makes sense that people look in the direction of the EF because it's the closest thing to an authority that we have feels like there is a conflict between the ideals of decentralization and a human desire to be led

I think what we’re about to learn is that decentralized governance does not negate the need for human leaders. Humans always had an inherent need to look up to someone for vision and guidance. The trick is how do we balance the two.
