Any time I’m at an airport, I think about how I’ll never see the fellow travelers ever again. Then I wondered how long it would take to see everyone alive across an average lifetime considering birth trends. You’d have to see ~604,101 people every single day for the rest of your life to see everyone ever.

This is how I feel with public transit in the city: you rarely see the same person twice.
