As I grow older, I realize how much my youth shaped my worldview and how it is increasingly becoming difficult to change or form anew 

I find myself fused (often irrationally) to them in different ways, esp when it comes to ideas / rituals that are close to who I am

I am surprised to find myself not disliking that

I find myself struggling with the opposite. Certain rituals I created as protective measures for my lower emotional intelligence at the time are now limiting and I don't know how to get rid of them.
