Has anyone written a comprehensive overview of the economics in the Farcaster network? Feel like it'd be awesome to see it all laid out somewhere

Protocol fees for registering FID and storage for hubs. If your storage expires your messages start getting deleted.

The P2P gossip sub network doesn’t have strong consensus, since there is no double spend problem. 

So there are scaling solutions available to FC that’s not to ETH :)
