I think it’s pretty easy to differentiate someone who has an idea vs someone who’s obsessed and planned around an idea for years https://warpcast.com/eulerlagrange.eth/0x41de2e7a

In my 20 years of experience I've never seen anyone steal an idea. People steal profit streams, not ideas. You could have an idea like "there is literally gold 10 feet under the dirt here, I just need someone to dig!" And literally no one will come dig. It just does not happen. Why not? Because there are 1,000 people yelling that. And 99.99% of them are wrong, there is not gold there. However, as soon as you start bringing up gold nuggets, then there is a MAD RUSH to steal your idea. Holes will spring up all around you. I post billion dollar ideas and they sit idle on my blog for years until finally I find a team who independently had the same idea and we join forces. I think posting your ideas is all upside, no downside. You don't know the true value of an idea until you've fully executed it--taken it the distance. Hence the expected value of even great ideas is zilch.
