once I proudly announced they had  invested in Bitcoin. Intrigued, I asked how much they had bought. They said, I own one whole Bitcoin Impressed, I asked when they had bought it, hoping for a good story about early adoption.

Turns out, they misunderstood decimals and had actually purchased 0.0001 BTC, thinking it was one Bitcoin. They even showed me a screenshot of their wallet, proudly pointing at their "full Bitcoin balance.

Explaining it to them was both hilarious and heartbreaking. The good news? Bitcoin went up, and their fraction became worth a little more than they expected.
