Bill Watterson’s new book “The Mysteries” is so bleak and misanthropic, it reminds me of when George Carlin went hard misanthrope and alienated a lot of his former audience. Beautiful fable and illustrations, though. Imagine it’s written by Calvin’s dad.

I’m glad I have it! I will probably re-read it a few times (it’s short, too!), but worth being ready that it’s no comic book.
