Babylon is a staking protocol that connects $BTC holders with the demand for network security from Proof-of-Stake (PoS) systems, such as PoS networks, Layer 2 solutions, and others.
The project raised $96 million in investments from Binance Labs, Polychain Capital, Paradigm, HashKey Capital, and others.
Recently, the project announced the launch of its Mainnet along with a staking program featuring a points system.
Staking details:
It will operate on a First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) basis with a limit of 1,000 $BTC;
By making a deposit, you lock your $BTC for 15 months with an early unlock option available after 7 days;
Minimum deposit amount: 0.005 $BTC ($304.5);
Maximum deposit amount: 0.05 $BTC ($3,044.9).
Points will be awarded starting from the second phase. Each block will have 3,125 points allocated, which will be distributed proportionally among users.
