Not caring what others think of what you do is different from being insensitive to others

It’s like the difference between eating what you want to eat regardless of norms or whatever versus forcing everyone to eat blue cheese because you’re super into blue cheese (i am but is everyone?)

But what about the expression - don’t pay attention to other people’s opinions, since it’s not yours, but someone else’s?
And yet the influence of others destroys the stereotypes and vision of a person! Do you agree?
