> What’s a hidden gem channel you want to see grow? /bcbhshow has a bit of an anti social social club vibe and I think its irreverence is a breath of fresh air whenever the wider FC atmosphere can feel like a big circle jerk. Not sure about anyone else, but I get often get reminded of US high school on here (which I actually really like!) in that there's a bunch of people forced to co-exist in a common space and so there's inevitably a cliquey "cool kids' club" that's become a de facto center of social gravity for almost everybody. And maybe it's just because I like contrarian behaviors 😂, but when many of us are compelled to simp for faristocracy approval, @christin and @artlu don't seem afraid to be the band geeks who march to their own drum beats (ex. pushing back on knee-jerk accusations of spam, speaking up for non native English casters, highlighting what can be hard truths, etc.). TL;DR follow this channel and engage with these guys!

Nailed it. FC as the US HS experience. Appreciating those who beat to their own drum. The whole thing. One of those pieces that makes tangible a whole bunch of ephemeral meta-thoughts. 2000 $degen

Felt lucky to have some of the big dogs on campus take me under their wing when I first joined. And then got picked up by some smaller group chats that knew their way around and showed me the ropes. A bit of eye-rolling now and then at the cliquish behavior and simping. Similar to HS, if you're not in the clique cause you're naturally adept at social games, it sure helps to be good at something people respect. Ratio of cool people to bots also reminiscent. Overall a lot of fun. And grateful for the relationships coming out of it.
