This week I built: GasTracker is a Solidity smart contract designed to monitor and record gas usage for specific function calls on the Ethereum blockchain. It enables developers to analyze gas consumption, optimize smart contracts, and understand transaction costs. I used Solidity to write the smart contract, Hardhat for development and testing, TypeScript for the test suite, and Ethers.js to interact with the blockchain.
