i want to nail the perfect sleep routine for when i start training again in november here is what im thinking so far → comfy bedding / pillows (any excuse to buy fresh bedding lol) → dark room/eye mask + ear plugs → magnesium before bed → no phone 1 hour before sleeping → electronics out of the room is there any other suggestions/findings you recommend?

Set your circadian rhythm by getting morning light! (Evening is good too) and cold room temperature

thanks so much! I'm wondering how to do this when it gets to the winter months, it gets really dark in the mornings here in the UK! some people use SAD lamps/bodyclock lamps but it's not natural hmm

Oh true!! I mean any natural light any time of day would probably still be very beneficial! If you ever listen to Dr Andrew Huberman he has a few podcast episode on sleep and talks a lot about artificial light because of people who wake up before the sun and live in different areas. I know it's on YouTube
