There are two main changes with allowances in Season 3: 
1. Allowances are now ~0.357x from last month for the same behavior. 

This isn’t surprising since Season 2’s allowance was itself already 0.7x the rewards from Season 1. 

This is good since it makes tipping consistent with “mining” curves.

2. Less active monthly casters are penalized slightly (so the algo considers total casts over the last 1 month when doing some maths for number of casts a user has). As we get further in the month, this will slightly start adjusting again. And will likely reset again in Season 4.

Ah this would explain some for me. I was AWOL for part of March but my last few weeks have picked up. Fingers crossed my allo is Up Only as Apr moves forward 🤞🤞
