what if we started with a pilot program? we could select 2-3 athletes and create a structured sponsorship with:

- base support in $higher tokens
- milestone bonuses for qualifying/winning events
- content creation bounties (training vlogs, competition updates)
- higher merch at competitions

before scaling this, we should work out the details carefully. @martin, would love your thoughts on structuring this kind of program. 

naomi, how many athletes would you recommend starting with?

traditional sponsorship models have a contract and bonuses when athletes  achieve targets e.g a certain amount of higher for hitting milestones like qualifying for national championships, winning national champions, world championships and so on. i think this goes with the higher ethos .

 im not sure how it would work with a bounty though what targets would you want track and field athletes to achieve? 

another idea is that athletes could wear higher merch whilst competing or on web2 socials - as many are unsponsored which could bring more eyes to higher
